All the Bad Guys Die in the End As the Spy Novel Continues - A Book Review For You

Robert Ludlum is one of my favorite authors and I’d put him in the same high esteem as authors like Tom Clancy and others in this genre. He is an action thriller novel writer with a message, and stories of intrigue with more twists and turns than Super Cross. One of the most recent books I’ve read is one I enjoyed so much, I thought I’d recommend it to you in this book review. The book is;

“The Paris Option,” a Covert One Series Novel, by Robert Ludlum and Gayle Lynds; St. Martin’s Griffin Publishing; New York, NY; 2002 (455 pages); ISBN: 0-312-28987-1.

This book has a little of everything in it, including multi-national spies from France to the Middle East including Basques. It has the introduction of the first organic random generating super computer system based on DNA. It has a bit of computer hacking at an unheard of scale, along with issues of rogue nations and Russian ICBMs. The French Nationalists in the story hate the US, love France, and wish to use international groups like the EU, UN and NATO to knock the USA off her game.

Robert Ludlum’s Cover One Series never seems to disappoint and this book is no exception and the bad guys are being chased all the way around the world while the good guys from the US and England from the MI6 and CIA track them down to hideouts in secret places and old French Castles. This is a great book and I recommend you read it at your earliest convenience.
